該儀器主要用于內底的耐摩性測定，同時，本機在試驗經染色的鞋面，內里皮革，經摩擦后之受損及退色的程度實驗方法是以干燥或濕潤的白色羊毛布，包于摩擦表面，然后往復摩擦夾在試驗臺上的試片.
This machine is designed to carry out the rub fastness test on the surface of leather according to method IUF450, so as to determine the amount of marring of the leather surface or finish and the amount of color transfer to the rubbing pad. It is also used to test abrasion resistance of insole board.
